Iron Eagle Program
What is an Iron Eagle?
An Iron Eagle is a Sacred Heart student, in grades 5-8, who participates in one Sacred Heart sponsored sport each season (Fall, Winter, Spring). Upon completion of this endeavor the student will receive, free of charge, a specially made piece of spirit wear designating the student as an Iron Eagle. This spirit wear will carry a logo unique to the Iron Eagle club. These pieces of spirit wear will not be able to be purchased. In addition, the name of the student will be posted on the wall in the gym for one school year.
What are the requirements?
A student must participate in 90% of the practices and games in a season as well as complete the season. Documented injuries do not count against a student. Academic ineligibility will count as missed time towards the 90% requirement.
What sports can I play?
Fall ~ Cross-Country, Co-ed Tennis, Girls Soccer, Flag Football, Volleyball
Winter ~ Girls and Boys Basketball, Catholic Youth Swimming, Cheerleading
Spring ~ Boy’s Soccer, Golf, Softball, Track and Field, Boy's Lacrosse
